WATERFORD LEISURE LEAGUES ROUND-UP SUNDAY
THE YOUNG GUNS are hot on the heels of the top two sides in the Waterford Sunday Leisure League, after Steven Doody led them to a 6-0 demolition of The Mwaruwaris. Slov.Cech.Pol caused the shock of the day as they saw off high-flying Misfitz FC 5-2 to claim their first victory of the season.
Willie O’Keefe helped leaders The Blue Blaas ease through 3-0 against The Womble Warriors, and Portlaw Boys Galvan-ised a 3-1 win over Bonmahon Blizzards as Dean Galvan starred.
Liam O’Rourke was in fine fettle for Lismore Lions but they couldn’t help them to anymore than a 2-2 draw with Beercalona.
