The Cobras maintained their position at the top of the Shepton Mallet 6-a-side League without even kicking a ball. The non-attendance of Creatures meant that Cobras earned themselves a default 5-0 win to remain ahead of Lusitanos on goal difference.
Lusitanos edged out Barking Waffles by the only goal in a game which was dominated by a heroic performance in the Waffles goal by Jordan Kerr, who made a string of world-class saves.
Kamikaze Crunchers seem to have become impossible to break down, now 5 games unbeaten and with 2 impressive clean sheets in their last 2 games. Tom Dewdney was again in fine form as they overcame Substandard Liege 1-0 to move them up to 4th in the table.
In the night´s other match, Matt Garner helped himself to 4 well-taken goals as Playa Den Bossa overcame BTFC 7-1.
