The White Lion emphatically defeated Athletico Kebab this week to move top of the Selston Sunday league on goal difference this week. Scott Morgan’s usual all action display for White Lion draw praise as he helped his side pull off a superb 14-0 victory. Already after only four games this season both White Lion and Eastley Harriers have opened up a four point lead over the nearest challenges in third spot. Eastley’s game this week saw them overcome Mot Mot Motley Crue 5-1 with Paul Meer’s performance enough to earn him the man of the match award
Matt Davis’ goals helped move his side Horse ad Jockey up into fifth spot after another victory, this time a 7-4 win at the expense of the Inbertweeners whilst Shane Scrimshaw did enough to ensure Notts FC completed a 6-3 victory over Orange Sierra and remain in third spot. The other game of the evening failed to find as winner as Norfolk In Chance FC and Waingroves played out an entertaining 3-3 draw.
