The top 3 teams in the Wells 6-a-side league remain unbeaten after the first 3 games of the season.
The Real Deal stayed top after helping themselves to a 5-0 default win against Leave My Arcelona, who were unable to attend. Instead, the league leaders faced up to Bayern Neverlosing, one of the teams from our Street league, in a friendly match. The Real Deal gave the Street boys a warm welcome by walloping them 5-0! Alex Main impressed with 2 goals, but it was Lee Lester who took the plaudits for a classy defensive performance.
This season´s surprise package, Why Always Us, are in 2nd spot after edging to a narrow 2-1 defeat of Ribery´s Face with Alex Main in great form (he gets about doesn´t he?!).
Coxley Pounders made it 3 draws in 3 after sharing 2 goals with Blue Toon, with Chris Hammond deserving special mention.
6 Lions earned their first points of the campaign with a comfortable 3-0 defeat of Somerset Lions, with Oli Reeve standing out throughout the game.
