Clifton Dynamo clinched the title in the final game of the season in the Clifton 6 a side league with an emphatic 11-1 victory against previous title hopefuls SNC Active. Before the game SNC, occupying second spot, knew that anything less than a victory by four goals would hand the title to Dynamo however after Dynamo scored the first goal their task was made even harder. A Clinical Dynamo added more goals to seal the victory and finish off an impressive campaign as league winners.
With SNC dropping points it presented Brooks Villa with the chance to secure runners up in their game against Sporting Lesbo. Fired up from the start Brooks went on the attack and it was a move that paid dividends. An impressive display saw them run out 4-2 winners and overtake SNC into second place.
Game of the day though saw bottom side The Youngsters produce their best performance of the season against their closest rivals Cliftonites. Cliftonites, who had been in impressive form of late, took a two goal lead to stun The Youngsters. However as the game wore on Youngster grew in confidence and they were unlucky not to come away with at least a draw and had it not been for the display of Daniel Hurst in the Cliftonites goal who produced a number of world class saves, they would have.
