Bayern Neverlosing and Green Army share the early lead at the top of the Street 6-a-side League after both teams recorded impressive wins on the season´s opening night.
Bayern defeated Surfers Yard United 6-2, with George Tiley in commanding form, while George Coombes led Green Army to an emphatic 4-0 win against OMG FC.
Victoria Sports find themselves in 3rd place after a hard-fought 3-0 win against WABS u-16s. In a match that was high on quality, Victoria overcame a spirited WABS effort, epitomised by the WABS keeper, Harry Franks.
In the most dramatic match of the night, The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers (that´ll be MMFA to me and you!) took an early 2 goal lead that seemed to shock their opponents, Butleigh Dynamos, into action, and the score soon returned to parity at 2-2. There were no further goals until the last 2 minutes, with MMFA again finding what seemed a certain winner, only to be pegged back with the last kick of the game by a Butleigh equaliser from Man of The Match, JJ Lyons.
