Bolehall Youth already knew they had to settle for second spot in the Woodhouse Sunday league even before the last game of the season took place, but that didn’t stop them crushing Jurassic 13-1. Two massive victories in the Wilnecote Sunday league Premier division, with Stuart Campbell making sure Asda Dynamos hammered Boom Town Rats 10-7 and mid-table Double Dutch left Deportivo floundering at the bottom of the table after an 8-3 loss. There was another 8-3 victory in division one as the always dangerous David Dale took the plaudits as Brewers Droop saw off High Bees.

LMA sealed the title in division one after they too won 1-0, beating Usual Suspects, while Secondary Threat are favourites to join them after they cut through Unathletic Madrid as Luke Barber found his best form.
Not So Athletic sit top of the table in Woodhouse Wednesday after a third successive victory, Adam Gurney amongst the goals in an 8-4 hammering of Real Tamworth. Elsewhere Charlie GFC’s early season struggles continue as they were humbled 5-1 by Bouncebackability.

No doubt about the headline makers in Wilnecote Thursday 5 a side competition as the season kicked off this week. Nick Holmes FC crushed Mile Oak Rovers 10-3, while champions Wongs beat On The Bus 4-1 and got their defence off to a winning start.
