Yes...they're back...
After 18 months out of the game having previously struggled to put a side out, the
former Division 2 Champions are back with a 15 strong squad of players, including an array of new talent, an improved Management structure and rumours of a New sponsorship deal.
After a poor run of results on a recent European tour to Estonia, current Captain
Greedy Boy Hayler (GBH) decided it was time to throw in the towel as skipper leaving the club in disarray.
Fortunately the Manager
Chesus (Lord) stepped in to calm things down and quickly set about finding a suitable successor. An unenviable task, but one he carried out with great conviction. He finally set his sights on a management restructure and quickly set the wheels in motion.
His master plan was to promote himself to Director of Football (DOF),
Greedy to Manager and find within his ranks a new Captain to steady the ship.
A ballot was arranged and after a lengthy and somewhat boring debate the ballot took place. It was no surprise that the clear favourite
James Randall (GOK) was elected to lead this exiting new era of Village football.
