Another good evening in the Cannock Sunday 6-a-side league with all teams in attendance and the mojority of matches taking place without incident. We did however have an incident in the match between Total 40 and Cream United which will result in a few players being banned and I will be dealing with the players concerned. We do not tolerate any violence in our leagues and players found acting in an aggressive manner can expect to be banned from all Leisure Leagues events.

Inter Y`nan have changed their team name to Notso Athletic from this week in Division Three.

Entries for this year’s National Tournament are now being accepted. With over 250 of the countries best teams playing against each other to be crowned the UK and Ireland Champions it promises to be the largest tournament of it’s kind in Europe. To enter the tournament and be in with the chance of playing in a European tournament with flights, transfers and accommodation for nine players just follow the link below and log in using your Leisure League account details. All you need to do is fill out the form and pay your fee, it couldn’t be easier. You will then receive a call 3 - 5 working days after submission with more details. From now on all players who have registered their email address will recieve an ebooklet one hour after the results have been published. If you have not registered your email address and want to recieve an ebooklet, you can do this via your team manager or alternatively give us a call on the number below.

I would also like to remind all team managers that they need to keep us informed if they change their contact details. It is extremely important, especially as we go into the winter season and teams may need to be contacted at short notice regarding fixture details if we get any extreme weather conditions.

I must also remind all teams that smoking in the enclosed pitch area is not permitted and any player found smoking will be banned from the league on a permanent basis.
