An excellent evening in the Cannock Wednesday 6 aside league despite Longford FC failing to turn up for the second week running. They have now been removed from the league as we will not tolerate teams who are intent on letting everyone down. I have moved Unbelievable Spooners into division three from the premier division as unfortunately they were a new team who were getting beaten every week, so hopefully their fortune will now change. We would like to also welcome back Heath Hayes to the league after a few seasons away and they have now gone into the premier division to hopefully pick up where they left off a few seasons ago..

Entries for this year’s National Tournament are now being accepted. With over 250 of the countries best teams playing against each other to be crowned the UK and Ireland Champions it promises to be the largest tournament of it’s kind in Europe. We would like to make all teams aware that any rubbish must be taken off the pitch after the match has finished, especially empty water bottles. I must also remind all teams that they are not permitted to wear blades or studs on the pitch and players will be asked to leave the field of play if they are found to be wearing inappropriate footwear.
