Sport League Manager (Office based)
Full time, permanent position

Leisure Leagues are the largest national provider of 5 and 6-a-side football leagues in the UK with over 20 years’ experience at the forefront of the small-sided football industry. We have over 250 leagues running across the UK, which operate centrally from our large modern Head Office, located south of Birmingham.
Due to the ever expanding number of leagues which we operate, we are looking for Sport League Managers to join our Head Office team and take control of approximately 25 of our leagues, managing these leagues on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for dealing with, and building relationships with, our match officials and referees who operate our leagues from the ground, as well as liaising with teams directly to ensure the smooth-running of each league night.

Key responsibilities
• Coordinating match officials and referees for each league you operate.
• Creating match fixtures for each season.
• Dealing with any disciplinary issues at the league.
• Liaising with other office staff to help promote the league and fill any spaces.
• Speaking with teams directly when they enter the league and at the start of each season.
• Dealing with any complaints appropriately.
• Checking match reports to unearth any problems at the league.
• Ensure the web page for each league is up to date.

Person specification
• Knowledge of football is not essential but may be advantageous.
• Confident and positive telephone manner.
• Highly organised.
• Able to prioritise your workload.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Good decision making capacity.

Salary and benefits
• The salary offered for this position will be set according to the current salary, skills and experience of the successful candidate, but will be in the region of £16,000- £18,000. We will also consider matching or beating an applicant’s current salary above this range if appropriate.
• An aggressive and achievable commission structure is in place to enable you to earn on top of your salary.
• Frequent salary increases and bonuses are available based on good performance and meeting targets. We expect our best Sport League Managers to be earning over £20,000 after 3 months.

• Flexible working environment- staff can arrive anytime between 8am and 10am and can leave early on Fridays subject to the completion of their workload.

Customer Services Manager (mobile)
Full time, permanent position, working afternoons and evenings, Sunday- Thursday.
Leisure Leagues are the largest national provider of 5 and 6-a-side football leagues in the UK with over 20 years’ experience at the forefront of the small-sided football industry. We have over 250 leagues running across the UK, which operate centrally from our large modern Head Office, located south of Birmingham.
This role will require the successful candidate to visit our leagues each evening (Sunday- Thursday) to check the quality and professionalism at our leagues all across the UK and ensure that we are delivering excellent customer service and upholding our brand standards. The candidate will need to liaise with Head Office and report their findings to the league managers to ensure that they can resolve any issues identified at the leagues.

Key responsibilities
• Conducting league visits and completing assessments on each of the leagues including the conduct of teams and referees, the promotional material and appearance of the league etc.
• Passing relevant findings on to office-based league manager to take action on any discrepancies which you have noticed with the league or the staff at the league.
• Giving feedback to match officials and advising them on any changes that need to be implemented.
• Representing Leisure Leagues and conducting yourself appropriately with match officials, teams, venue staff etc.

Person specification
• Good interpersonal skills and professional manner.
• Enthusiastic attitude and able to act as an ambassador for Leisure Leagues as the Head Office representative.
• Diplomatic and able to speak to match officials about their performance in a sensitive, but firm, manner.
• Customer service- focused.
• Attention to detail- able to spot any discrepancies from our standards and address these on the spot.
• Flexible approach and willing to travel to leagues across the whole of the UK.

Salary and benefits
• The salary offered for this position will be set according to the current salary, skills and experience of the successful candidate, but will be in the region of £16,000- £18,000. We will also consider matching or beating an applicant’s current salary above this range if appropriate.
• You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card to undertake your duties and, if successful in the role, will be offered use of the vehicle and fuel card outside of working hours.

Football Leagues Development Officer
Full time, permanent position
Leisure Leagues are the largest national provider of 5 and 6-a-side football leagues in the UK with over 20 years’ experience at the forefront of the small-sided football industry. We have over 250 leagues running across the UK, which operate centrally from our large modern Head Office, located south of Birmingham.
Our Sports Development Officers are responsible for introducing and starting new 5 and 6-a-side leagues across the UK in defined areas of the country. Your role will be to manage the start-up of new leagues by finding venues, attracting teams and ensuring that they run successfully according to our brand standards from the onset. Essentially you will be your own boss, deciding what venues to run at and how best to promote the leagues. Once running successfully, these leagues will then be passed on to our current business team to manage.

Key responsibilities
• Identify new areas and find the best venues to operate within these areas.
• Liaise with the venue staff and secure bookings for the leagues.
• Promote the league to attract teams and referees, both physically through leaflets and banners, in social media and in the press.
• Start the league on the first night ensuring that the league adheres to Leisure League’s brand standards.
• Complete league reports and pass on relevant information to the current business league managers.
Person Specification
• This is a multi-faceted role and means that you have to be quick- thinking and hard working in equal measure.
• Able to communicate effectively in person with a wide variety of people including sport facility managers and council officer, teams and referees.
• Ambitious and results driven.
• Flexible attitude.
• Able to use initiative.
• Willing to travel to leagues.

Salary and benefits
• The salary offered for this position will be set according to the current salary, skills and experience of the successful candidate, but will be in the region of £16,000- £18,000. We will also consider matching or beating an applicant’s current salary above this range if appropriate.
• You will earn commission on every league which starts successfully, allowing a successful Sport Development Officer to enhance their salary by a further £5,000 - £10,000 per annum, based on their results.
• You will be given use of a company vehicle and fuel card to be used within working hours. If you show promise in the role within the first few months then you will be offered full time use of the vehicle and fuel card (a benefit worth approximately £4,000 per annum).
• You will be judged solely on your results and can work your way upwards in the company very quickly by achieving good results.

Franchise Account Manager
To work within our Franchise department liaising with our existing and new franchisees offering advice and supporting their continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate regularly with all Franchisees.
• Undertake league visits.
• Ensure all content of league news for each franchise league is up to date
• Offer ongoing advice and support to the Franchisees regarding the setting up and the running of their leagues.
• Push forward with sale promotions and new items on the partner shop ensuring their leagues meet our brand standards.
• Create a monthly newsletter with relevant and useful content
• Assist in the training of a new Franchisee
• Liaise regularly with your line manager to discuss ways to improve our service further
