Formed on a warm summer's day in 2006, FC Adelaide Legends was the brainchild of Tom Vincent and Luke Wilkins. They got off to a poor start, losing 9-1 and 8-2 in their opening fixtures, but despite being hindered by the bumbling Alan Bust, Legends soon managed to put some results together, and remarkably steered their way to safety in the premier division. The team were forced to fold briefly the following season due to mismanaging of the finances, however, the good times returned when star forward Tom 'Karim' Vincent took over full ownership of the club. Now in Division 1, the team struggled for consistency initially, however, with a more settled team, Legends are hoping for a return to the promised land in the near future.
