Braintree 6-a-side Sunday Night Football League

Braintree - Football Match Reports: 6-a-side Sunday night

Sunday 13th May's match for the Division 1 was a clash between Rafa Pats and Parma Viola.

Rafa Pats started brightly and missed a good early chance. Parma then broke down the Rafa Pats end and Bill Andrews tucked his effort away nicely. Within minutes Andrews had another good chance with the Rafa Pats GF making an excellent save to deny him.

Rafa Pats then broke up play in the middle of the park before going forward in numbers with Paul Durran finishing off a good move. Rafa Pats then missed a good chance to take the lead before yet again the Rafa Pats GK made a good save to deny Parma.

The second half started again with Rafa Pats starting well and missing a good chance to take the lead. They did then make it 2-1 with another good finish from Paul Durran.

Parma Viola reacted well to going behind and begun to get on the ball more from MOM Luke Watkins, who picked the ball up from 15 yards out and rifled in a screamer into the corner of the net.

It was end to end after this with both sides pushing for a winner and Parma hit Rafa Pats on the break with Andrews going through on goal but couldn’t find the target.
Final whistle went for a 2-2 entertaining draw.
