Athletic Goring have been members of the Worthing Thursday League since its inception in May 2008.  Since then many faces have come and gone, although there is a core of the team which have featured regularly since our debut.  During our time in the league we have been champions once, gone close on a couple of other occassions and had a couple of indifferent mediocre seasons.

The current season has been about adapting and finding our feet with the current pool of players, and after a slow start we have shown signs of repeating past glories.  Indeed as it stands we are responsible for the top two's only defeats this season.
