Unfortunately four teams have been removed from the league this week after they failed to attend their league fixtures on Sunday evening.

Monster Munchers, Red Monks, The Boyz and Legends have all been removed from the league after not attending and leaving their opponents without a competitive fixture.

Leisure Leagues will be doing all we can to ensure the spaces within the leagues are filled asap and we are offering a 'Free Retro Kit' to all teams that register in the month of March.

We do believe that the league will be stronger and better than ever after the unreliable teams have been removed and replaced with teams that are committed to the league and do not let the league down.

We would like to welcome new team Tractor Boys to the league this week.

We have also spoken with Haverfordwest Leisure Centre this week and the goals nets will be replaced in this Sunday.

Can all teams please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure all games are kicked off on time.

Haverfordwest's small-sided football competition has brought some exciting footballing action to the town in recent weeks, and there is still time for teams to join Europe’s largest network of leagues.

Organisers Leisure Leagues are offering a free kit for each new team that joins the league, which takes place at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre.

Teams should not worry if they haven’t played in a league before though, as all the organisation is taken care of and equipment is all provided, along with a UKIFF qualified referee officiating at the league.

“It would be great if we could attract some more teams to join in the action down at the league” said Office League Manager Greg Allen, “whether it is established clubs or just lads from down the pub, anyone can get involved for the lowest prices around”.

The league takes place on Sunday afternoons between the times of 5pm and 8pm. Teams won’t have to pay a penny to join the league, as the affiliation fee has been waived, giving teams an instant saving of £25, and with the free kit for each new side, then this bumps the savings up to well over £100.

The winners and runners up in the league will be offered the chance to represent Haverfordwest in Leisure Leagues’ acclaimed National Cup Competition, which is held at venues across the Midlands, and Deputy Senior Manager Lee Wilcox, who oversees the finals day said: “We have seen some excellent players from West Wales already, so hopefully a local team might even take the title next time!”
