In the Cannock Monday 6-a-side football league, week 8 proved to be an eventful one as teams battled it out across four divisions.

In the Premier League, Thiago X Silva dominated the field with a 7-0 victory over Out Of Retirement FC. MDMaccies FC also enjoyed a comfortable win of 3-0 against the Aston Villagers. However, the most thrilling match of the night came from HMP and Game Set And Snatch, with the latter snatching victory at 6-3.

The excitement continued in Division 1 with Sevilla Depression trouncing Cash Out And Cry 7-3. Close contests were observed in the matches between The Spreadsheets and Pink Panthers, and Paralympiacos and Were Better At Pool, with the latter two teams edging out their rivals with 3-2 and 7-5 wins respectively.

In Division 2, Tekkerslovakia took the night with a 6-0 rout against Ayden B, while Pathetico Madrid narrowly lost to The Special Ones, 3-2. The Arcade Cannock held their ground against Villains FC, pulling off a 1-0 win.

Over in Division 3, Pjanic At The Isco blanked Red Hot Chilli Knackers 3-0, while Bargain Boyz suffered a devastating 12-2 loss to Bc.

In an exceptional week of action, the league's most valued player title was awarded to Daniel Scragg from RonOLDos. His outstanding performance left an indelible mark on the matches and contributed significantly to his team's success.
