In an action-packed week 10 of the Burntwood Monday 6 a side Football league, teams across all divisions demonstrated exceptional skills and competitive spirit.
In the Premier League, Burntwood FC came out on top over CTL Elite with a score of 6-4, a valiant effort as the current champions press on to try and protect their crown! Meanwhile Sheffield Monday narrowly defeated Norton FC 2-1. Dank FC secured a victory over Scrambled Legs with a 5-3 scoreline. At the crest of the table, Bunch Of Scruffs blanked Harriers 3-0. Is that the winner’s mentality setting in?
The Division 1 matches were equally riveting. Patty Freaks FC squeezed out a 3-2 victory over The Grillbillies. New boys Victor Moses Garden and Diddys Dribblers had a fiercely fought match ending in a 1-1 draw. Then there’s our Match of the Day..! ATHLETICO BILBAO BAGGINS pulled off a close 4-3 victory against 2 Goals 1 Cup. A 7 goal thriller which saw them leap ahead of the chasing pack, leaving 2G1C in a dogfight for the runners up spot at best! Meanwhile in other news, Basic FC dominated Burntwood Ballers FC with a 5-1 win.
In Division 2, Kepa Clean Sheet demonstrated sheer dominance with a 7-2 win over Class On Grass. The National Gridiots scored a 2-0 victory over Boys To Men, and Paul’s Rent Boys swept Davos Diddy Party with a convincing 5-0 win. Stroke Tity FC trounced PSV Hangover 8-0 in an astounding display of skill. Their impressive form continues!
The Division 3 matches saw a frustrating 1-1 draw between Inter Your Nan United and Queen Park Strangers. Karius To Glory triumphed over Broadfield FC with a 3-1 scoreline, while Whopper Walsh edged out Pro Clubs Irl with a score of 2-1. Such narrow margins between these two! This race is going to be close…
