In the world of local football, week 13 of the Cheltenham Monday 6-a-side league did not disappoint with thrilling action in both the Premier League and Division 1.

We did also have a non-attendance on the night, Brexit Ballers were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time. 

In the Premier League division, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly Baggingham Boys' astonishing victory over Raggy 6's.  Elsewhere, Stupac put on a commendable performance against Unathletico Club De Pittville with a 5-3 victory. However, Chippo FC took no prisoners as they annihilated Juve Gotte Be Joking FC with a whopping defeat, asserting their dominance in the League.

Over in Division 1, the competition was just as fierce. Aura Milan FC squeezed out a 3-2 victory over Netbreakers CF. Bossman Botafogo and Calbarrie Compliance locked horns in a seven-goal thriller, with Calbarrie Compliance edging out a 4-3 win. The game between Wu 2 Electric Boogaloo and Craggy Island Over 75s saw the latter triumph with a comfortable 4-0 win.

As the season continues, all teams will be looking for strong performances to climb the table in their respective divisions. The anticipation grows with each passing week as we inch closer to finding out who will be crowned the champions of the Cheltenham Monday 6-a-side league.
