Colchester Thursday's 6-a-side Football League provided another thrilling night of competition in Week 9, with teams across both Premier League and Division 1 divisions displaying some exceptional performances.

In the Premier League, Crabs FC continued their impressive form with a comprehensive 8-1 victory over Chubs in a one-sided encounter. Showcasing a fine demonstration of teamwork and skill, the Crabs FC dominated the game from the outset.

Living on an Emman Dare, however, fell short against ESSEX ESSEX ESSEX FC, losing 4-2. Despite a spirited fight, Living on an Emman Dare couldn't match the firepower of their opponents.

Murder On Zidanes Floor were also in action, grabbing a clean sheet in a hard-fought 3-0 victory over ESD 2. Their disciplined defence and clinical finishing proving to be the difference.

Turning our attention to Division 1, it was a night of closely contested matches. Clairmont FC edged out Unathletico Madrid 2-1 in a nail-biting fixture while Maccies Past and Present and GTB FC played to a 2-2 draw. Firepit B also shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw against Benchwarmers FC.

However, the highlight of the evening in Division 1 was Fire Pit's commanding 5-0 victory over Flopper FC, demonstrating their superiority with a dominant performance.

Top scorers for the week in the Premier League were Crabs FC, and in Division 1, it was Fire Pit, showcasing their potent attack and putting up high numbers in their respective divisions.
