In a thrilling night of six-a-side football, the 15th week of the Colchester Wednesday League witnessed some high-octane action across the Premier League and Division 1. Fans were treated to an exhibition of skilled football and unyielding team spirit.

In the Premier League, Old Mercenaries outclassed Colchester Zoo in a goal fest, hammering them 11-5. The Old Mercenaries showcased their offensive prowess with a show-stopping display of clinical finishing and fluid attacking football. Unsurprisingly, their lead striker was the top scorer in the Premier League with a remarkable haul of goals.

The Division 1 games were equally exciting, offering a captivating spectacle for football lovers. Shooting Blanks FC could not rise to the challenge of Handball, succumbing to a 4-2 defeat. Despite a fighting effort, they couldn't rally sufficiently to overcome their opponents.

The Essex Boys showcased their dominance with a convincing 6-3 victory over Hamilton Dads, displaying a high level of skill and tactical acumen. Their striker, having netted multiple times, emerged as the top scorer for Division 1.

The final match of Division 1 saw a fierce contest between The Lions and Farcelona, but it was Farcelona who carried the day with a 3-1 victory. Their defensive solidity and counter-attacking effectiveness were too much for The Lions to handle.

As we approach the tail-end of the league, each match is becoming crucial for the teams. We await the next week's action with bated breath, foreseeing more thrilling encounters in the Colchester Wednesday League.
