Thrilling Start to the Season for Rubery Thursday Football League


The much-awaited Rubery Thursday 6-a-side Football League kicked off its season last night with exhilarating matches in the Premier League and Division 1 categories.


In the Premier League division, spectators were treated to some high-octane action. Beautiful Men narrowly edged past Fc Boutay in an enthralling 4-3 match. In another faceoff, Diamond FC showed grit as they secured a 2-1 win against Last Legs FC. However, the highlight of the evening was Pathetic Athletic's dominant performance against Chasers81120 FC, which they won comfortably with a 6-2 scoreline. It was a night to remember for David from Pathetic Athletic, who stood out as the top scorer in the division, netting a remarkable total of 4 goals.

The Division 1 matches didn't fall short of excitement either. Macciesonaramp began their campaign with an emphatic 6-0 victory against Burning Rings. The team's performance was bolstered by the skillful performance of Tyler-Jai Kavanagh, who scored four times, making him the top goal scorer in the division. Is It Pink had a good start to the season too, sealing a 3-0 victory against MO SAYS NO FC.

The first week of the season has set the tone for an enthralling football league. The teams are looking promising and are set to deliver some great football in the coming weeks.
