Week 2 of the Rubery Thursday 6-A-Side Football League Saw Intense Battles on the Pitch

 

The second week of the Rubery Thursday 6-A-Side Football League transpired last night, with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions demonstrating their prowess and commitment on the field.


In the Premier League, Beautiful Men emerged victorious with an impressive 6-0 triumph over Last Legs FC. Legs were missing a few key players but can’t take it away from Beautiful who were as ruthless as ever


Most Valuable Player- Harry Miles (Beautiful Men)


Chasers81120 FC also showed their mettle with a 4-0 defeat of Pathetic Athletic. The signing of Cowley could be a turning point this season, as he produced an MVP performance and scored a stunning goal

Meanwhile, SakaPotatoes claimed victory over Pipers FC with a 4-1 win. Among the standout performances was Reid Baylis of SakaPotatoes, who netted two goals, leading the pack as the top scorer for this division this week.

Over in Division 1, the matches were equally thrilling. Excelsior FC locked horns with Field FC, resulting in a 2-4 loss for Excelsior.

FC Boutay edged out Macciesonaramp with a 4-2 victory. Maccies will take a lot from their performance against one of the favourites for promotion 


Most Valuable Player- Ben Trevithick (Macciesonaramp)


 In an intense standoff, Oldman Arthritic and Maradona Kebabs battled to a 2-2 draw.

 The star of the evening in this division was Ethan from Fc Boutay, who scored a total of 2 goals, earning him the title of top scorer for the week in Division 1.


The Rubery Thursday Football League continues to offer an exciting showcase of local talent and competitive spirit.
