Football enthusiasts were treated to a thrilling set of matches last night in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side League. The league, now into its fifth week, saw fierce rivalries and electrifying performances across two divisions - Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League division, Pique Blinders FC delivered an exciting performance, trouncing Pathetic Athletic with a score of 5-1.
Most Valuable Player- Jordan Wilson (Pique Blinders)
Last Legs FC edged past SakaPotatoes 3-2 in a nail-biting encounter that kept everybody on the edge of their seats until the last whistle.

Beautiful Men made a significant impact, outplaying Fc Boutay with a resounding 6-1 victory to remain top
Most Valuable Player- Javey (Beautiful Men)
One of the stand-out performances of the night came from J.teji of Last Legs FC, who stole the show with a hat trick, earning him the top scorer honour in the Premier League division.
Over in Division 1, West Heath FC and Madeline Milan emerged victorious with 4-2 and 3-0 wins against Maradona Kebabs and TGR respectively.

We Move clinched a win against Macciesonaramp with a scoreline of 3-1.

The highlight of the night in Division 1 came from Niall of West Heath FC, whose striking prowess was on full display. Scoring two goals, he topped the list of scorers in the Division 1 matches.
The Rubery Thursday League continues to exemplify the spirit of grassroots football, with local players showcasing their skills, passion, and dedication to the beautiful game. Fans eagerly await the next round of matches, as the league moves into its exciting sixth week.
