Play in the Rubery Thursday 6-a-side football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In an exhilarating start to the Rubery Thursday 6 a side Football League season, both the Premier League and Division 1 experienced competitive play and electrifying performances from teams and individual players alike.


In the Premier League, an exciting series of matches unfolded. We Move and Beautiful Men set the stage with a 2-2 draw, a great result from the newly promoted team against the champions

Most Valuable Player- Callum (We Move)

SakaPotatoes showed their dominance with a compelling 3-0 Derby day win over Bluepool FC.

Most Valuable Player- Ryan (Sakapotatoes)

 Pique Blinders FC made a commanding statement with a 4-0 victory against Chasers81120 FC.The standout performer in the Premier League was Max Colebrooke, who netted 2 decisive goals for Pique Blinders FC to secure their victory and earn himself the honor of top scorer and MVP,  in this inaugural week.

Division 1 was no less thrilling, with Snowbunny FC falling 0-4 to DIAMOND FC, as our newest team set out a statement of intent

Most Valuable Player- Wanderson (Diamond FC)

FC Boutay outclassed Madeline Milan with a 5-0 victory, and Macciesonaramp pulled off a closely contested 2-1 win over Field FC. 

Most Valuable Players - Theo (FC Boutay) and Alfie aka Rubery Ronaldo (Macciesonaramp)

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly LA Dons' mind-blowing 10-2 annihilation of Fish N Chips FC. This division's standout was Shaun Davies, who, with 4 sterling goals for LA Dons, proved instrumental in their victory and earned the top scorer and MVP titles


This promising start sets the stage for an intense and competitive season. Football fans will undoubtedly look forward to the coming weeks as the teams continue to battle it out, build on their successes, and work on improving their game play in pursuit of the coveted league title.

The league breaks for Christmas now, and will return January 8th. We wish all our teams and players a merry Christmas and happy new year
