Week 20 of Rubery Tuesday Football League Sees Sharp Competition in Premier League Division


In an electrifying week 20 of the Rubery Tuesday 6-a-side Football League, Premier League teams battled in fiercely competitive matches that left spectators on the edge of their seats.


Leading the Premier League division, Good Ebening demonstrated their prowess on the field with a 3-1 victory over PIPERS FC, while Midlife Strikers put on an impressive display, crushing Flekken The Bean FC with a 6-0 win. Chasers81120 FC also had a great night, outscoring South Side with a 5-2 win. 

Most Valuable Players- Callum (Good Ebening)  Mark Walton ( Flekken The Bean) and Cowley (Chasers)

The evening was not without its nail-biting moments. Net6andchill narrowly defeated Kroos Control with a 3-2 victory, while Wheezy Wanderers FC and West Heath FC kept spectators guessing until the end with a final score of 3-2.

With just two weeks left in this exciting season, all the teams are vying for the top spots in their respective divisions. The competition is far from over, and the remaining games promise to be filled with even more thrilling moments.

We all at LL Rubery were deeply saddened this week to hear of the passing of the league’s current top scorer Dan. Dan always had great energy, banter and was having a brilliant season in front of goal.
