Excitement filled the air as Week 2 of the Ashton Under Lyne Monday 6 a side Football league kicked off, demonstrating the passion and dedication of amateur football teams in the area.

In the Premier League division, AFC BC notched a tight win against Oreo FC, ending the game 2-1 while Sulivans VI clashed against Ste Min FC, the match ending in a 3-3 draw. Callum of AFC BC emerged as the top scorer in the division, netting a goal and contributing to his team's victory.

The action was intense in Division 1 where FC Gamble succumbed to Lads On Toure with a final score of 2-6. The rest of the division saw close matches with Ngolo Zante just losing out to Tameside Tigers 2-3 and Man Chest Hair United battling it out to a 2-2 draw against Colts.
