Monday 4th August - Deeside Round-Up
It was a slightly mixed evening this week in the Deeside Monday 5 a side league with a handful of teams unable to play, but we anticipate being back to normal next week.
We are delighted to confirm the addition of three new teams to the league this week, and wish all good luck going into their debut games, which fills the league back to capacity.
In the Premier League division, MK Buds FC and FCC FC contested a nail-biting match that ended in a 4-3 victory for MK Buds FC. The high-scoring duel showcased the attacking prowess of both teams, but eventually, it was MK Buds FC who managed to edge out their opponents in a thrilling encounter.
Elsewhere in the Premier League, Athletic De Ruthin produced a polished performance to secure a 2-0 win over The Shammy FC. The result marked another clean sheet for Athletic De Ruthin who continue to impress with their defensive solidity.
For the top scorers of the Premier League Division, the limelight was stolen by the forwards from MK Buds FC and Athletic De Ruthin, both of whom made significant contributions to their team’s victories.
Switching to Division 1, the scores and teams for this week's competition are yet to be confirmed.
