In Halifax Monday's high-intensity 5-a-side Football league, the season kicked off to an electrifying start with some spectacular matches in the Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League, Fear City scored a whopping 10-0 victory over Past It FC. The match was a ruthless display of Fear City's attacking prowess, setting a strong precedent for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Daddy Day Care and TRANSLINE offered a nail-biting match, ending in a 3-3 draw. The Calder V FC vs EXPOSED NUGGETS FC match saw a well-fought 3-1 win for Calder V FC. Over in Division 1, The Minnows and WTP FC match was a rollercoaster ride that ended in a thrilling 6-6 draw. Young Ens FC suffered a 3-1 defeat against a valiant Brads Barmy Army. Inky Jims FC emerged victorious against Lads On Toure with a tight 4-3 win. Lastly, Pudding Boys steamrolled their way to an 8-1 victory over Bridge FC, a clear demonstration of their offensive strength in the league.
