Sunday 10th August - Nuneaton Round-Up

A fantastic evening's football was enjoyed by all in the summer sun in Nuneaton on Sunday, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night across all four divisions.

The Premier League saw a high-scoring contest with THE ALLIES FC putting 9 past Net 6 And Chill, who managed to sneak in 2 goals. Norfolk N Chance had a triumphant performance over Backshot FC, scoring 8 goals to none. The fight between EEFC and Ligmatip ended in a close victory for EEFC with a 2-1 scoreline. Top scorer for the Premier League was a player from THE ALLIES FC with his astonishing hat trick.

In Division 1, Age Doesn't Mateta and Hardly Athletic ended in a 1-1 draw. Atherstone Town FC were convincing winners against Challenged FC with a 5-0 victory, while Borussia Teeth narrowly beat Barely Athletic 3-2. The top scorer from Atherstone Town FC shined with their brace in the game.

In the Division 2 fixtures, Rubbergently managed a narrow victory over Extra Special Ones with a 3-2 scoreline. HighAndWideFC beat Puyol Pants Down 2-0, while Misfits eked out a 2-1 victory over Lads On Toure. A player from HighAndWideFC clinched the top scorer spot with both goals for his team.

Finally, in Division 3, Rainbow Sparkles and Tuffnells FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Tiki Tanaka outscored Ricky Spanish FC in a 5-2 victory, while Salah-vation Army blanked Royal Mail-drid 4-0. The top scorer for Division 3 was a standout player from Tiki Tanaka who bagged a hat trick.
