Sunday 13th July - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring two, Andy FC and Pepe Pig will both be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns as normal on Sunday 20th July.

In the Premier League division, EEFC displayed a dominant performance by defeating 2 Goals 1 Cup 4-0. Ligmatip also came out strong with a resounding 5-0 victory over Backshot FC. The match between THE ALLIES FC and Norfolk N Chance, however, ended in a goalless stalemate, adding an interesting twist to the top-flight division.

In the Division 1, Barely Athletic outpaced Age Doesnt Mateta in an interesting 3-1 game. Meanwhile, Challenged FC managed a narrow victory over Hardly Athletic in a thrilling 3-2 game, proving that the competition in this division is hotter than ever.

Moving onto Division 2, Extra Special Ones exerted their dominance with a 4-1 win over Misfits. Puyol Pants Down also registered a 3-1 win against Rubbergently, showing a fine display of football.

In Division 3, Rainbow Sparkles stole the show with a 1-0 victory over Salah-vation Army. Ricky Spanish FC also impressed the spectators with a 3-0 triumph over Royal Mail-drid.
