Sunday 14th December - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, barring Misfits who had cancelled with 7 days notice and return as normal next week.

In the Premier League division, EEFC demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 4-1 victory over Hardly Athletic, showing why they're considered one of the top contenders this season. Norfolk N Chance eked out a tight 1-0 victory over The Scoregasms, proving that every goal counts in this competitive league. Proving their mettle, Stevos Turtle Beach Headset managed a 2-1 win against Puyol Pants Down.

Over in Division 1, Age Doesnt Mateta clinched a close 2-1 victory against The Ladthsss, proving that age truly doesn't matter when it comes to the beautiful game. THE ALLIES FC and HCU faced off in a goal-laden match, with THE ALLIES FC emerging victorious with a 7-4 scoreline, securing their place among the top scorers.

In Division 2, the lone match of the week saw Salah-vation Army lose narrowly to Borussia Teeth, who secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory.

In the Division 3, Extra Special Ones and Lads On Toure provided the spectators with a goal feast, with Lads On Toure coming out on top with a 6-4 victory. Elsewhere, Tuffnells FC and Rainbow Sparkles played a fiercely competitive match, with Rainbow Sparkles clinching a 3-2 victory. Tiki Tanaka managed a narrow 2-1 win against Rubbergently, demonstrating the competitiveness of the division.
