Sunday 22nd June - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

An excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week saw all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being a late cancellation from Shanti Town who are due back next week.

In the Premier League, Norfolk N Chance made a statement with a convincing 5-0 victory over Age Doesnt Mateta. EEFC also demonstrated their dominance by dealing a 4-0 defeat to Challenged FC. The closely contested match between 2 Goals 1 Cup and THE ALLIES FC ended in a 2-1 win in favor of 2 Goals 1 Cup.

In Division 1, Borussia Teeth showed their prowess with a solid 2-0 win over Pepe Pig. Dirty Burts Army earned an impressive 4-2 victory against Hardly Athletic, while Ligmatip defeated Misfits 3-1.

Division 2 saw Atherstone Town FC overpower Barely Athletic with a triumphant 6-2 scoreline. The Mighty Six had a narrow victory over Puyol Pants Down, showing off their defensive skills with a 1-0 result.

Meanwhile, Division 3 proved to be equally competitive, with Extra Special Ones edging past Rainbow Sparkles 2-1. Tuffnells FC delivered a strong performance by beating Ricky Spanish FC 5-2. In an exceptional scoring feat, HighAndWideFC demolished Salah-vation Army with a 14-2 score.
