Sunday 4th May - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a handful due to the Bank Holiday Weekend, but all teams return as normal this weekend.

In the Premier League division, Challenged FC narrowly edged Expected Toulouse with a score of 2-1, demonstrating their mettle and determination. Meanwhile, EEFC emerged victorious against Shanti Town FC with a convincing 5-1 scoreline. The top scorer for this division was EEFC with their impressive five goals.

In Division 1, Borussia Teeth faced a heavy defeat at the hands of Ligmatip, with the game ending in a 7-2 scoreline. On the other end of the field, Dirty Burts Army triumphed over Misfits in a close-knit contest that ended 4-3. Ligmatip took the lead in this division as top scorer, scoring an impressive seven goals.

In Division 2, Atherstone Town FC was dealt a crushing blow by Romania, who hammered home 12 goals to their 2. Romania's outstanding offensive play landed them as the top scorers in this division.

Division 3 witnessed Extra Special Ones succumb to Ricky Spanish FC with a score of 3-1. In the other match, Tuffnells FC clinched a victory against Salah-vation Army with a score of 2-1. Ricky Spanish FC distinguished themselves as the top scorers in this division.
