Sunday 9th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Atherstone Town FC who'll be spoken to accordingly.

In the premier division, EEFC triumphed over THE ALLIES FC, in a closely contested match that ended 3-2. Meanwhile, Norfolk N Chance proved their dominance by securing a 2-0 victory over Stevos Turtle Beach Headset, cementing their place at the top of the Premier League.

Division 1 saw some noteworthy performances, with Barely Athletic overpowering Expected Toulouse 4-1, and FRESHIES registering a convincing 6-1 win over Hardly Athletic. In a thrilling encounter, Puyol Pants Down edged out HCU 4-2 to round off the Division 1 battles.

In Division 2, Age Doesnt Mateta emerged victorious with a 6-3 win over Borussia Teeth. Rubbergently scraped by with a narrow 3-2 win against Misfits and the same scoreline favored Ricky Spanish FC who took down Rainbow Sparkles.

Division 3 also saw its fair share of drama. Extra Special Ones handed Lads On Toure a 3-1 defeat, while Atherstone United delivered a stunning performance with a 5-0 victory over Tuffnells FC. In the last match of the division, Tiki Tanaka clinched a win over Salah-vation Army, finishing 2-1.
