Sunday 13th July - Walsall Round-Up

It was a superb evening's football in the eighth week of the season of the Walsall Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled.

The evening kicked off with a fierce face-off between Lettuce Win and Fat Tony FC, with Lettuce Win stamping their authority in a commanding 5-2 victory. With this win, they solidified their position and announced themselves as serious contenders for the title.

In another entertaining match of the evening, Growler FC outclassed TenpinTuesdaysFC 4-1. With a strong display of teamwork and clinical finishing, Growler FC dominated the game from the onset, pushing their opponents on the backfoot.

However, the highlight of the evening was the match between Avion Athletic and Bradbury Park Rangers. In a one-sided contest, Bradbury Park Rangers showed their class with a 4-0 thrashing of Avion Athletic.

After completing their withdrawal notice, we say goodbye to Growler FC.  We welcome new team Purple Helmets who have played with us before, and wish these good luck going into their game on Sunday 20th July!
