In Week 5 of the Oldham Tuesday 6-a-side Football league, the intensity was cranked up a notch. The Premier League and Division 1 saw some nail-biting finishes, and plenty of goals to keep the spectators entertained.

In the Premier League, Da Fardys went up against 360 No Pope in a high-scoring match, ultimately falling short with a 7-5 defeat. The second match saw The Ballers being bested by Oldham Boys, with the latter team clinching victory with a score of 7-3. The action continued as Cumchester United and Saddy Ramblers FC battled to a thrilling 5-5 draw. The final match of the Premier League division saw Bayern Munchies narrowly losing to Rio De Janeiro 5-4.

Moving to Division 1, Shoprite Rovers couldn't keep up with Turf Tavern, suffering a 5-2 defeat. The match between Royton Reprobates and ODL ended in a stalemate with a 3-3 draw.

Jude of ODL was the standout player of the week for Division 1, scoring a total of 2 goals and demonstrating excellent skills on the pitch. Unfortunately, the top scorer for the Premier League was not reported.

The Oldham Tuesday league has always been a breeding ground for local talent and the performances seen in Week 5 only solidify this sentiment.
