Play in the Stourbridge Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues
In the thrilling week 8 of the 6 a side football league, a myriad of matches took place across divisions, with some teams managing to solidify their place in the league standings.
Unfortunately, we did have a couple of non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their returns for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League, The Galacticos put up a strong show, beating Wheres Your Man FC 4-1. Pork Loin FC were emphatic in their solid 5-2 win over Celta Allstars, hotting up the race for the top spot. Fries.Bag.Now also overcame AFC Gornal with their contest finishing 3-1.
Division 1 saw several high-scoring games, with Khedira Pin Drop defeating Surreal Madrid 8-4. Kford Rent Boys also had a great win over Scran City beating them comfortably.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, PSV Hangover triumphed over Never Cash Out FC with a score of 5-1. Genoa Side breezed past Pint After, winning 2-0. The Six Offenders took the top spot with a 4-1 win over Big Balls. While, Hwang Bang ,who are also challenging for the title, squeezed past Gangsters Allardyce beating them 2-1.
In Division 3, the Piqué Blinders edged out Beres FC in a thrilling 6-4 victory. Pathetico Madrid put 7 past Talbot 6, in a game that ended 7-3. The goals did not stop there with a huge win for Swinfordians over Noir FC. Finally, Openda Legs FC beat Past Our Prime 3-2 in a close affair.
Division 4 was dominated by LRC Litness, who defeated Danny Gs Henchmen by a landslide. FC RTG still top the table, further cementing this with a nice win over Lads On Toure. Top Of The League beat newcomers Pablo Hit The Bar, in a game that ended 4-0. Bakers Barmy Army were also victorious, beating Barely Athletic 4-2.
Finally, in Division 5, ALAN FC narrowly won against This Is Plough We Do It with a score of 1-0. Ketamingolet took the top spot with an emphatic win over Rios Friday FC. Expected Toulouse FC beat Boca 4-0. Finally, Cunning Stunts Unathletic and Galastourary shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
Overall, the week was filled with excellent football, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship. We eagerly anticipate the upcoming week’s matches and the excitement they are sure to bring.
