In the exhilarating opening week of the Stourbridge Monday 6-a-side Football League, fans were treated to a spectacle of skill, tactics, and pure passion for the beautiful game.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night during the game between NetSixandChill and Past Our Prime, where a player from NetSixandChill was sent form the field of play for intimidating behavior. The player in question has been fined and banned accordingly due to their actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

We did also have a non-attendance on the night, Khedira Pin Drop were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, AFC Gornal edged past Chin N Tonic 6-5 in a thrilling encounter. Pork Loin FC delivered a commanding performance to dismantle The Galacticos 5-1 in a one-sided contest that showcased their attacking quality from start to finish. Fans were treated to an eight-goal thriller as Surreal Madrid outlasted Fries.Bag.Now in an entertaining 5-3 victory.

Moving on to Division 1, Kford Rent Boys made a powerful statement, defeating Hala Hinksford 10-5. The match of the day saw Redz on Stedz secure a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Wheres Your Man FC in a contest filled with twists and turns. The Six Offenders produced a professional display to defeat Gangsters Allardyce 2-0 and maintain momentum. AFC Vexham recorded an impressive 2-0 victory over VI Inches Combined, combining defensive discipline with clinical finishing.

Genoa Side showed their dominance in Division 2, as they crushed Shagley 5-1. Piqué Blinders delivered a statement performance with a devastating victory over Big Balls in the most emphatic result of the round. The Arms maintained their strong form from last season with a convincing 4-1 victory over Hwang Bang. Swinfordians recorded a solid 3-1 victory over PSV Hangover in a match that showcased both discipline and efficiency.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, LRC Litness fell short against FC RTG 3-4. Past Our Prime produced a composed performance to secure a 2-0 victory over NetSixAndChill. Pint After edged a competitive encounter against Beres FC, running out 2-1 winners after an entertaining battle. The closest contest of the round saw GET UP FC leave with all the points after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Never Cash Out FC.

In Division 4, in a high-scoring clash, Expected Toulouse FC emerged victorious over Ketamingolet 5-3. Pathetico Madrid emerged victorious from the highest-scoring game of the round, defeating Barely Athletic 6-3 in a breathtaking contest packed with attacking football. The shock result of the day saw Danny Gs Henchmen dismantle Top of the League in a stunning display of attacking dominance. Noir FC produced a composed and convincing performance to secure a 4-1 victory over Bakers Barmy Army.

Lastly, in Division 5, Pablo Hit The Bar had a 4-1 win over Unathletico Madrid. Galastourary and Rios Friday FC battled to a 1-1 draw in a closely contested encounter that could have gone either way. The clash between This Is Plough We Do It and Lads On Toure ended 0-0 after a hard-fought battle in which clear-cut chances were at a premium.
