Week 5 of the Stourbridge Sunday 6 a side Football league saw some thrilling matches and worthy performances on the pitch. The Premier League division, Division 1, and Division 2 were the arenas of these electrifying matches.
We did unfortunately have a non-attendance on the night as Kewford Old Eagles were not present for their fixture and they have now been removed from the league as it is the second game they have missed in a row, pre terms and conditions. It is paramount all teams are present each week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.
In the Premier League division, Ragarse Rovers showed their dominance with a 2-0 victory over Inter Yurmammy, securing their position on the leaderboard. In a match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, First The Points Then The Pints drew 3-3 against Real Ale Madrid; a battle that proved the competitiveness of the Premier League division. However, the highlight of the division was Graces All Stars, who crushed X FC.
