In the fifth week of Stourbridge Sunday's 6 a side Football league, action on the pitch continued to heat up with an intense flurry of goals and exhilarating performances.

Unfortunately, We did have a non-attendance on the night, Exeter Gently were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next week. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

We also had a few teams hand in their 7 days notice to cancel for this week, we look forward to welcoming back Withy Regens, Hardly Athletic and Bayer Neverlusen for next weeks games!

In the Premier League division, Inter Yurmammy flew past Ragarse Rovers with a 4-2 victory. The other matches in the division also saw Graces All Stars taking a clear 4-2 triumph over X FC and Stourbridge Olympic sharing the spoils with Young Boys in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Switching over to Division 1, Snort Vale stole the show with a  resounding victory over 60k. The other fixtures in the division saw The Merry Men outclass Top Bins FC 3-1 and a tightly contested match between Real Sosobad and Elite FC, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Division 2 saw Bellytubbies FC reign victorious in a dominant 4-1 victory over Pique Blinders

As the season progresses, the competition continues to intensify. The teams are displaying excellent football. The fans are eagerly waiting for the next week of matches, expecting them to be as thrilling and entertaining as this week's.
