In an exciting week 8 of the Stourbridge Sunday Football League, teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions locked horns to showcase their skills amidst fierce competition.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night during the game between Snort Vale and Elite FC, where a player from Snort Vale was sent from the field of play for dissent and has been fined and banned accordingly for his actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

We did also have a non-attendance on the night, Stourbridge Olympic were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next week. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, Young Boys had an impressive victory over X FC. Other notable matches included Withy Regens's decisive 5-1 win against Inter Yurmammy and Ragarse Rovers's stellar performance against Graces All Stars, ending the match with a 7-3 score line.

The Division 1 matches were not short of action either. Snort Vale fell short against the dominant Elite FC, who won 9-5. In the other match, Real Ale Madrid claimed a 5-3 victory over Top Bins FC.

The competition was just as intense in Division 2 where Reform FC triumphed against Sheffield Sunday. Other games saw BellyTubbies FC overcame Sesh Bus United comfortably and Pique Blinders narrowly edged Hardly Athletic 3-2. Bayer Neverlusen also came out on top with a 2-1 win over Pain In Diaz.

With the next round of matches just around the corner, the teams are gearing up to compete fiercely and the spectators can't wait to witness more such nail-biting performances.
