In the highly competitive Stourbridge Tuesday 6-a-side Football League, we saw some spectacular performances in week 8, setting the stage for an exciting final two weeks of the season.

We did have two non-attendances on the night as The Boys in Striped Wanyamas gave the required 7 days notice to cancel a fixture. Innocent Until Proven Gylfi were not present for there fixture and have confirmed there return next week. We look forward to having both of them back in action this week. It is paramount all teams are present for there fixtures each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible. If there are any problems please be sure to contact you area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League division, The Galacticos claimed a decisive 2-0 victory over Swanky FC, showing their dominance on the pitch. Meanwhile, Growler Out FC put on a goal scoring clinic with a 5-1 win over Yatesys VI.

The Division 1 games witnessed some nail-biting moments, as Lenton Orient edged out Salt N Vinegar 3-2. In a tightly contested match, DY8 All The Pies fell short against Mals Tav Athletic in a 2-1 loss.

In the Division 2 encounters, Six Offenders anf HAS Bin Lions played out a 3-3 draw, whereas Fake Madrid overcame Real Ale Madrid 2-1. There was also a 1-0 victory for Fenny Football Club over Gangsters Allardyce.

Division 3 saw Lads On Toure triumph over Drinking Team With A Football Problem with a solid 4-2 victory. You Spin Me Joel Round outclassed Choir Boys FC with a 4-0 win. Any Holes a Goal and Gary Neville is a Legend played out a very entertaining 1-1- draw.

As the season draws to a close with only two weeks remaining, teams are battling it out to secure their spots in the league for the next season. With the stakes higher than ever, we're set to witness some thrilling football in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
