In an exhilarating week eight of the Dudley Monday football league, both Premier League and Division 1 witnessed some dynamic matches, including fantastic individual performances and high-scoring draws.

In the Premier League, Brexit Bad Boys made their mark with a dominant win over Masterclass FC, Sewey FC also put on quite a show, securing an impressive 6 - 1 victory over The Old Tigers. Pacesetters secured a 5-0 win following the absence of Springhill FC, we look forward to welcoming them back next week.

Team of the week this week goes to Brexit Bad Boys who displayed quality at both ends of the pitch, earning g them the points going into the bank holiday break.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, new team Sorry Nic Jackson  started superbly, playing out a thrilling 3 - 3 draw against Barely Athletic FC. Underdawgs demonstrated their continued improvement in a points match, scoring 3 impressive goals.  The highlight of the evening, however, was the goal fest between Banterlona and BTEC Boys, which ended in a 10 - 10 draw. 

Undoubtedly this game goes down as game of the night, as star men Tom Nicklin from BTEC Boys and Ollie from Banterlona both scored a number of outstanding goals. Not to mention a plethora of saves from Dugan Porter who was impressive in goal, a thoroughly enjoyable game so very well played to both teams. 

The most valued player for the week was Joe May from Brexit Bad Boys. May's contribution to his team's victory was noteworthy, showcasing his skills, precision, and impact on the pitch. His efforts have not gone unnoticed as he stood out in a week of high-octane football. 

In conclusion, week eight of the Dudley Monday Football League was a showcase of high-scoring games, exceptional individual performances, and competitive team plays that kept fans on their toes. With top scorers and MVPs emerging, the competition continues to heat up in both the Premier League and Division 1.
