In the thrilling final week of the Basingstoke Monday 6-a-side Football league, two teams emerged victorious from a season of intense competition. From Division 1, Camavinga Your Mum took the title, while Division 2 was claimed by Scrote City FC.
In Division 1, Camavinga Your Mum put on a masterful display in their final match, narrowly overcoming The Kestrel Killaz 4-3 in a tight and tense encounter. The win took their tally to 14, out of a possible 14 wins, solidifying their place at the top with an impressive 28 points.
Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Peps Army ran riot against the Iron Tigers, outscoring them 8-0, a fitting end to a brilliant season. However, their efforts fell short against the consistent brilliance of Camavinga Your Mum.
Over in Division 2, Scrote City FC end the season as champions with 23 points and 11 wins. Despite a thrilling 4-4 draw between Goal Diggers and Chezney FC, and Barely Athletic triumphing 6-3 over Real Sosobad, it was Scrote City who took the final honors.
Stacys Deciples and Grass With No Class ended their seasons with a goalless draw, a testament to the tough competition and tight defenses in Division 2 this season.
