In the gripping first week of the Brierley Hill Wednesday Cup, thrilling matches unfolded across Group A, Group B, Group C and Group D bringing exhilarating action and top-class performances.

Unfortunately, we did have two separate incidents on the night. They occurred in the games between Real Ale Madrid vs Wallows Madrid and 6 Offenders vs Kford & Co. Two respective players from Real Ale Madrid and 6 Offenders have been banned and fined accordingly for foul and abusive language towards the referee. These situations will be dealt with swiftly by the Area Manager every time they happen to ensure a smoothly ran league.

In Group A, Choir Boys FC were bested by Redz On Stedz in a 2-1 defeat. Another match saw The Big Monkeys face off against Kingsway FC, which also ended in a 2-0 victory for the former. In Redz On Stedz second game of the night they beat 13 Seasons Why emphatically.

Group B saw its share of action with 6 Offenders falling to Kford & Co in a entertaining match. Straight Outa Compton FC clashed in an energetic match with Crxchit FC, which ended in a big victory for Crxchit FC. Straight Outa Compton FC and Gangsters Allardyce match ended in a huge win for Gangsters Allardyce, with the former showcasing exemplary teamwork and skill.

Group C also lived up to expectations, with Exeter Gently beating DY8 All The Pies by a singular goal. Pique Blinders beat DY8 All The Pies winning 3-1. Wallows Madrid won emphatically against Real Ale Madrid also.

In Group D, Scudu Without Scudu reigned victorious against Bunting Mental winning by a landslide. King Julians Merry Men also had a big win against Sedgley Bombers FC. Finally, Six On The Beach won 2-1 in a game against Scudu Without Scudu.

After the first week of the cup, competition is heating up as teams vie for the top spots in their respective groups. As the anticipation builds, teams are encouraged to keep up their outstanding play in weeks to come.
