In the realm of local football, the Brierley Hill Wednesday League brought forth another thrilling week of action. The fifth week of the season witnessed fierce battles across the divisions. The Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 all saw some heated matches and impressive performances from the players.

Unfortunately, there was an incident on the night during the game between Horse And Jockey FC and Woodside Wander, where a player from Horse And Jockey FC was sent from the field of play for violent conduct and has been fined and permanently banned accordingly for his actions. These incidents will be dealt with swiftly every time they happen by our Area Manager to make sure the league is a safe place to be for all the teams and staff. 

We did have a couple of non-attendances on the night, These teams were not present for their games and we will be in contact with both of them this week in order to confirm their returns for next Wednesday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, Whale Madrid showcased their extraordinary skills by delivering a crushing defeat to Blue Ballers. Pique Blinders and 5 And A Half Aside FC played a nerve-wracking match that ended in a draw, showcasing the competitive nature of the Premier League.

Division 1 also saw some exciting action with Buzzball FC beautifully overcoming Ketamingolet B with a score of 4-2. Moving to Division 2, the match between Woodside Wander and Horse And Jockey FC saw a closely fought battle ending in favour of the latter with a score of 2-1. 

This week's matches once again highlighted the talent and competitiveness present in the Brierley Hill Wednesday League. With many more weeks of the season left, football enthusiasts can look forward to more thrilling and captivating games.
