Sunday 28th April - University of Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled barring one cancellation from Diamond Scrubs who return to action on Sunday 5th May.


In the Premier League, there were close matches as Real Pasante and Alton Wanderers FC shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. However, DADS ARMY emerged as the league's early pace-setters after a resounding 10-0 victory over Athletico Northfield. Harry of DADS ARMY, was the standout player, netting a total of four goals. Elsewhere, Chivas Supplemento and Chiellini Con Carne registered wins over Brothel FC and Cadballerz respectively.


Division 1 saw some intense battles with SB Generals emerging as the top team after defeating Monopolads Fc 6-2, thanks to a dynamic performance from Liam Smith, who scored two crucial goals. In other matches, Up The Cru lost to Broderick AFC, while UCHEBALL was edged out by FDL FC and Sporting Stirchley FC drew with METCH FC.


In Division 2, Chivas Primera dominated the field, defeating Tekkaslovakia V2 by a remarkable 10-0. The star of the match was Tristan Allport, who alone scored an impressive seven goals. ECFC also had a good start, beating Robben Me Blind 6-0.


In Division 3, Sevilla Tism FC emerged victorious over Moist Blankets FC with a 4-1 win, while Top Gs, Shaggers, and Gary Glitchards Gorgeous Guys also notched wins.


Lastly, in Division 4, Athletics, Slap Net, and Hangin marked the first week of the season with wins against White Horse FC, Brummie Boys FC, and Leavemyarcelona respectively.
