Sunday 29th June - Birmingham Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance barring a couple of cancellations who return as normal next week.

We have removed Haram Ball from the league for failing to attend and failure to notify us.  We welcome new team Backshot FC to the league as their replacement.

In the Premier League, Sevilla Tism FC managed to edge past 3 Small Plates FC with a 2-1 victory. Chivas Supplemento topped The Hungry Boys 5-2, with top scorer Tristen leading the way with an impressive brace. Avengers Assombalonga and Cadballerz battled it out to a 2-2 draw, while GamingSoc narrowly defeated DADS ARMY with a 1-0 scoreline.

Over in Division 1, a high-scoring match saw Villa-ns Assemble come out as 4-3 winners against Jiggy Jiggy United. Chiellini Con Carne and AFC Domi Force could not be separated and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

In Division 2, the standout performance was from Jack of Dead Ballers FC who netted 4 times in a blistering 8-2 victory over Kroos Control. Other matches saw Stevie Wonders and Shlongball settle for a 1-1 draw, while Diamond Scrubs overcame Sharkys Saints 3-1. The Cotters were downed 4-0 by Chivas Primera.

Finally, in Division 3, 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC fell 4-2 to BMI, while Steel & Iron were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Hyeungmyson FC. Brumtown Ballers were beaten 2-1 by Road To GC, and WIP U23s secured a tight 2-1 victory over Clubs.
