Sunday 6th July - University of Birmingham Round-Up

Another fantastic evening's football was enjoyed by all in the Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night across all divisions, the only exception being Stevie Wonders and Ringers, both of which gave the required 7 days notice and return as normal this week.

In the Premier League, 3 Small Plates FC claimed an impressive 2-0 victory over The Hungry Boys, demonstrating their supremacy in the competition. Meanwhile, GamingSoc proved their mettle with a decisive 3-1 win over Chivas Supplemento. The battle between Cadballerz and Sevilla Tism FC ended in a deadlock at 1-1. Avengers Assombalonga managed to edge out DADS ARMY 2-1 in what proved to be a nail-biting match.

In Division 1, Chiellini Con Carne took down Ringers FC 2-0 while Moseley Magpies soared high with a staggering 5-0 triumph over Villa-ns Assemble. The Jiggy Jiggy United team showcased an outstanding performance, beating BOSHERS FC 5-1.

Moving over to Division 2, the match between Dead Ballers FC and Sharkys Saints ended in a 1-1 draw. Chivas Primera managed to secure a comfortable 2-0 win over Shlongball. The Cotters claimed a sizeable victory over Diamond Scrubs, ending the game with a 4-0 scoreline.

Meanwhile, in Division 3, BMI secured a narrow 2-1 victory against Brumtown Ballers. WIP U23s dominated their game against Road To GC, scoring a remarkable 8 goals to zero. 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC managed to clinch a close 2-1 win over Hyeungmyson FC. Steel & Iron ended up victorious over Clubs, with a 2-1 win.
