Sunday 8th June - Birmingham Round-Up

A good evening's football was enjoyed by all in the University of Birmingham Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, the only exception being a cancellation from Diamond Scrubs and a no-show from Ballaz 4 Life, both of which are due to return on Sunday 15th June.

In the Premier League, The Hungry Boys put on a stellar performance, sinking Avengers Assombalonga with a resounding 5-2 victory. Meanwhile, the match between GamingSoc and Sevilla Tism FC ended in a 1-1 deadlock. Chivas Supplemento was left goalless as 3 Small Plates FC cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win. The bout between DADS ARMY and Cadballerz also ended in a 1-1 draw.

Moving on to Division 1, Moseley Magpies shone bright with a commanding 4-0 triumph over Bocat Army. The face-off between Ringers FC and AFC Domi Force ended in a 1-1 tie. In another high-octane encounter, Jiggy Jiggy United outplayed Chiellini Con Carne 3-0. The night's fixture ended with Villa-ns Assemble falling short against HARAM BALL, losing 2-4.

In Division 2, we saw Chivas Primera dominate Stevie Wonders with a clean 3-0 victory. Shlongball triumphed over Sharkys Saints, with a scoreline of 5-2. The Cotters displayed a remarkable game, stunning Kroos Control 7-2.

Finally, in Division 3, WIP U23s had an impressive 7-0 win against 6 LITTLE BIRDS FC. Ellis Ate Jonah FC narrowly defeated Hyeungmyson FC 1-0, while Brumtown Ballers edged out Steel & Iron 4-3.
